I chose the pieces on this program because they expand in significance with every encounter. Live performance is where the most magic is often found, so I’m thrilled to present these raw moments in time created with my phenomenal friend Yanfeng (Tony) Bai at the very special Aspen Music Festival and School.”
– Aubree Oliverson
The Aspen Music Festival and School proudly presents the debut album of violinist Aubree Oliverson, recorded live during the 2025 Festival with pianist Yanfeng (Tony) Bai. An alumna of the AMFS, where she studied for four summers and won the prestigious Dorothy DeLay Fellowship Competition, Oliverson represents the next generation of artists shaped by Aspen’s extraordinary musical community.
This full recital recording from Aspen’s acoustically pristine Harris Concert Hall captures a compelling young artist at a pivotal moment, reflecting the AMFS’s commitment not only to world-class performance but to mentoring and launching the careers of tomorrow’s leading musicians.
